My Birthday Wish~~~~

I'm really impressed that the fellowship has decided to pick up the challenge --- a mini missionary, Carol Singing in local Hospital on Christmas Eve (this Saturday).

We had a meeting (although not all committees turn up) last night. I was amazed by the efficiency of the meeting. We managed to finalise most of the logistics within 2 hours, including calling all our brothers and sisters who are interested to confirm their presence. We are expecting 25 people to join the Carol Singing !!!

Up to a point, I seriously understand we might face a lot of barriers during our visit on this Saturday, some obstacles are even unexpected (the worst case is we might get infected by some disease or vice versa to the patients). But deep in my heart, I could feel that there is some sort of “fire” in everyone of us (the mission teammates and those who were in the meeting last night). I believe if we let God to guide this “fire”, He will tell us what to do on that day. (I hope I am not being too naive –-- I thought this is so called “faith” :p)

If the apostles could heal the sick in the name of Jesus 2000 years ago, why shouldn’t we be encouraged to present the Christmas Carols (literally means “Spreading Gospel”) in hospital today in the name of Christ? Perhaps we have always been too sensible until we pull back many things that God wants us to do.

I seldom make birthday wishes, couldn’t really remember when was the last time I made one. My birthday wish for this year is as simple, I pray that God will use this occasion to change the patients’ life in the hospital, as well as changing the fellowship through this event. Amen

Keep praying and praying and praying until Saturday. Seriously think about it, this is a real mini mission trip (I hope I’m not scaring you off, but encouraging each of us). We are probably the last “angels” that God send us to the some patients and spread the Good News to them.

Will remember you all in my prayer when I’m in Barcelona, although up to a point I wish I could cancel my flight to join you all --- but this being naïve !! :)

Go go go soldiers~~~~~~~
