Homesick II

I called home just now. Only realised today is my beloved nephew's birthday. He's 3 years old today if I'm not mistaken. My niece's birthday should be around the corner as well. They were born around July and August in 2003.

Apparently they are having a mini party at my eldest brother's house. Basically all my close relatives were invited to the pot-luck dinner. 2 of my brothers were back from Singapore to attend this mini gathering. Everyone (including the babies) seemed enjoying themselves very much when I called them. Sigh, make me feel like going home to enjoy the warmth and atmosphere. Sometimes I would rather give up everything here and start all over again back in Msia. Well, I suppose life is just about gaining and losing.

The last time when I gathered with 4 of my elder brothers was exactly one year ago, that was when my dad passed away on 14th July last year. Time really flies, thank God for comforting my family (especially my mum) for the past 12 months. I'm glad to hear the joy, cheer and laughters from back home again. At the same time, I pray for peace and salvation unto them.

So when I can meet with all my brothers and family again? Would it be this coming Chinese New Year? I hope my new boss gonna let me go home, oh please !!
