Great Gadget

I have to admit that this is a very luring piece of gadget. I always thought that I'm not a materialistic person -- I've been using my current handphone for 5 years, it's about 6 years now since I bought the previous PC (current laptop is given by the company), seldom buy clothes for myself etc etc. But now I'm thinking to get this phone, it's a combination of all the stuff that I want.

I wasn't attracted by I-Pod when it first launched. But I really think I should give some credits to I-Phone. Well done Steve Jobs !!

The cost of the phone is about the same price as I-Pod Video. I'm sure Apple has hit the right customer target, those youths will crazy about this gadget I bet !!

Appalling Weather

The weather this week has been really depressing, especially the severe storm on Thursday. It was a Force 10 wind and the strongest gust was up to 133 km/hour, recorded in north west of the Netherlands.

10,000 rail passengers were stranded as the major railway network closed down. 6000 people were put on the emergency accommodation and 6 people died from the disaster. Our company announced immediate evacuation and encouraged everyone to go home earlier. I left office at 2pm and got home at 11pm. Can't believe it !! The worst travel experience in my life.

I shouldn't complain and in fact I should be thankful compared to others. I realised humans are so weak and tiny when dealing with natural disaster event. I can now understand better now how Hurricane stroke US.

Perhaps we don't really need nuclear war to wipe human race, a scale of Noah's flood will defnitely do the job.

New Toy

Everything here goes on really quickly. We bought this "toy" after Christmas, considered a Christmas present for ourselves, such an expensive present !!!

The car looks newer than it depicts in the pictures. It's a Nissan Almera 1.5, not a very luxury car but enough to do its job I guess.

People, feel free to visit me in the Netherlands, and then I have more reasons to travel around !!!
